Hench Starts KTM 105 Super Mini Project

Here we go, ANOTHER Super Mini project! Not content with Honda piston reed power, Hench has gone for KTM case-reed, powervalve power! Check it out:

Well, it was definitely in need of a little care when Hench Engineering got hold of it, you won't have any trouble telling the new plastic from the old.

Water cooled, case reed, powervalve, magnesium cased, six-speed, hydraulic clutch marvel from Austria.

Compact, powerful, and a great powerband compared to the pipey Honda.

Powervalve exhaust port, and extra large cooling capacity near the top (hot) part of the cylinder.

Massive transfer port chambers - matched by Hench. Unbridged main exhaust port, and two exhaust booster ports.

Here you can better see the exhaust boosters, with the forward transfer ports right beneath them.

Holy Schnikees! Hench has the frame and footpegs nickel plated!

Astro Plating in Van Nuys did a SUPER job polishing up the nickel after they plated it. All for only slightly more than powder coat. The pictures don't do the gleam justice.
