On the left, the Frankenstein server array consisting of nine 1u Gateway 7450 servers, and two 5u Gateway 8450 servers, all with RAID arrays, twin processors and gigs of RAM. On the right, Hench Engineering's enterprise comprised of three Dell 1u 1550 servers, one Dell 2300 6u Metaframe server, the PC based PBX phone system and Hench Engineering voicemail. Of course, each setup has it's own Cisco PIX firewall, Cayman router, dedicated high-speed DSLs, the usual complement of switches, fans, KVM, cables, rack mount ladders and uninterruptable power supplies on separate power circuits all backed up by a auto-start generator in case of Kalifornia power-outs.
